Meet Dobby

“We’re looking for the right forever home for our boy. He is genuinely a good dog who loves people, especially kids, and is great with cats. He walks wonderfully on a leash, does well in a crate, and is happiest when he gets attention and affection. He does best with female dogs and can eventually warm up to males, but a slow introduction would be best.

He does have some quirks that have made our current home a difficult fit. He can be mischievous, will counter-surf if given the opportunity, and because he was neutered later in life, he has a tendency to mark indoors. He can also get overly excited when kids are running and playing and may accidentally knock younger children over. He is an escape artist with short fences and will chase deer or rabbits, so a secure yard is important.

Our yard is much smaller than what he previously had, and he has been spending more time on a long line than we feel is fair to him. Between that and the fact that he and my husband simply aren’t a great match, I feel he deserves a home where he can be fully included, loved, and appreciated for the wonderful dog he is.

We are located in Billings, MT and are looking for someone who will truly make him part of the family and give him the time, attention, and secure environment he deserves. We want this to be the right match, not just a quick rehome.”

Meet Scout a 7 year old spayed female who will need a special home. When she was born her mom chewed off a few of her back toes which were surgery removed. Her number one problem is she BARKS incessantly. She is a nervous Nelly. Collars and trainers have not worked. She is mainly an outside dog. She is very happy when when she is inside which is only allowed in winter and in the mud room as there is a child with allergies.
The ideal home would be a retired woman or couple where she could live inside as an only dog. She tolerates the Corgi in the house hold and doesn’t mind cats but does not like unknown dogs. She has shown food aggression but nothing beyond a growl
Let me know if you would be a fit for Scout. The owner will be the one to decide where she is placed. Located in Belgrade, MT

Dylan is a sweet male Golden Retriever, 3-4 years old. He is fun-loving and eager to please. He has been living in an outdoor kennel and is almost fully housebroken. He has good manners—doesn’t dig, doesn’t jump up, and is pretty good on a leash. He has been doing well hanging out in a mud room (no accidents) with access to the back yard through a dog door. Dylan loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He weighs 65 lbs. and stands fairly tall. Dylan was confined to a kennel for most of his life but is fairly well socialized and super friendly like a typical golden. With some work and patience we can tell he will be a great addition to a loving family. Dylan has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a rehoming fee will apply.
