Roundup Community Partners are dedicated to restoring a healthy commercial district, preserving historic structures and promoting community events while maintaining our authentic Western values and way of life. Vision Statement:
Roundup Community Partners strives to revitalize Roundup’s economy and business community, encourage and support owners in remodeling/repairing historic buildings, invite new business opportunities, beautify our historic Main Street district and promote local events and groups that are working for the betterment of our community. Organization Values:
Roundup Community Partners (RCP):
• are present-minded, positive and possibility-oriented.
• will assist Roundup area organizations to work together and be successful in their endeavors to improve the community. It is a cooperative effort between Roundup civic and volunteer groups, local businesses, the City of Roundup, Musselshell County and other community members.
• will provide renovation and maintenance tools and resources along with suggestions to enable owners to improve and maintain their building’s appearance.
• will enable the visual expressions of pride to be reflected in our historic Main Street district that we feel for our community and its people.
• will maintain Roundup's unique sense of place - - - authentic western feel with community-focus and family values.
• will work cooperatively to preserve and promote our community’s historic structures and cultural and natural heritage while building awareness about the ethnic diversity of its people.

The City of Roundup's Local Government Review Board has concluded its study of Roundups current form of government and is recommending the following change.

The Board recommends that Roundup change from the general powers form to the self-government form of government.

This change will give Roundup greater local authority to address local issues, including the possibility of addressing deteriorating and/or unsafe properties through appropriately adopted local regulations.

Self-government does not mean “Roundup can do whatever it wants”. The city remains subject to the Montana Constitution and applicable state laws, it simply means that the city has broader authority to exercise local powers unless those powers are prohibited by state law or the Constitution. It is not a panacea, it is just one tool to help address issues the city faces.

The Montana Department of Commerce’s Montana Main Street Program is seeking your vote for its MMS Best of Show Flower Basket and Flowerpot Competition. Flower planters and baskets are important features in Montana’s 38 Main Street communities. These floral elements are strategically placed to enhance the local image and economy, attract visitors and showcase downtown pride.

Voting is open through Oct. 2; all votes will be anonymous. Click this link to vote. Roundup's Masonic Hall flower beds were nominated and is part of this competition.
