To the individual that thought it was a good idea to seal 11 kittens into a box and dump them by the train tracks: may karma find and treat you accordingly.
Thankfully a GOOD human saw the box moving, rescued these babies in time, and called us.
These sweet kittens will be available for adoption after vetting.

🥰ADOPTED!!!🥰

BO-BASSETT HOUND-MALE-9 YEARS OLD
Where are our Bassett peeps?
Handsome Bo is sadly looking for a new home. His elderly owner had to move to an apartment due to her health needs.
Bo misses his human and howls for her when she is gone. She’s had him since he was a puppy so it’s understandable that he misses her when she is not there. His owner doesn’t feel it is fair to medicate Bo when she has to leave the apartment but can’t risk another complaint from a neighbor.
Bo is a shy guy but warmed up to us a bit after some time sitting on the floor with him and loving him.
He was a perfect gentleman and allowed us to trim his very overgrown nails.
Bo is a bit on the portly side (not throwing any shade at this good boy…) and would benefit greatly from some nice daily walks.
We think Bo would do well in a quiet home with a retiree that could spend most of their time with him. He has lived with a kitty in the past and does well with other dogs one on one so he doesn’t get overwhelmed.
Bo is neutered, potty-trained, and up to date on his vaccinations.
If you would like to give this fellow a new home, please fill out our online adoption application:
https://www.rimrockhumanesociety.org/contact-us/online-forms/dog-application/
Bo’s adoption fee is $125

MARY JANE-FEMALE-2ish YEARS OLD

This beautiful kitty girl was abandoned by her owners when they moved out of state. A kind neighbor noticed she was quite pregnant and caught her up for us to take in.
Mary Jane is a typical quirky Calico. She loves being pet and loved on but not a big fan of being picked up.
Mary Jane has now weaned her kittens, been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and FLV/FIV tested. She would love to have a home of her own now that the kitten raising is done.
*Please excuse the mess on the floor- kittens are very messy and we hadn't swept up their daily disaster prior to taking these pictures.
If you would like to give Mary Jane the love and stable home she deserves, please fill out her online adoption application:
https://www.rimrockhumanesociety.org/contact-us/online-forms/cat-application/
Half of her adoption fee has been sponsored so the cost to adopt this sweet girl is only $45.

GREYFUS-FEMALE-7 YEARS OLD

Greyfus came to us when we were contacted by a local veterinary office.
Her owners were moving to another state and Greyfus, who wasn't crated for the trip, wasn't handling the car travel well. The owners asked that she be euthanized for this reason. Thankfully we were called as the vet office didn't want to euthanize a perfectly healthy kitty. We of course immediately agreed to take her in.
Greyfus can be a little shy in the beginning but once she comes out of her shell, she is sweet as pie and loves conversing to tell you all about her day.
This pretty gal is spayed and now up to date on her vaccinations.
If you are interested in giving Greyfus a loving home, please fill out our online adoption application:
https://www.rimrockhumanesociety.org/contact-us/online-forms/cat-application/
Half of her adoption fee has been sponsored so the cost to adopt this cutie pie is only $45.

She is ready to rock and roll as she is now fully vaccinated, FLV/FIV negative, microchipped, and spayed.

MISS KITTY-FEMALE-2 YEARS OLD

This beautiful girl was adopted out by us as a kitten but sadly the home didn't work out as she was the brunt of bullying from the family's other cats.
It's hard to tell but Miss Kitty is a petite gal under all that lovely fluff. Check out that gorgeous tail she is sporting!
She is all about getting loved on and has just the best personality.

Miss Kitty is a submissive girl and is doing well here with other cats and kittens that don't try to dominate her.
She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
If you are interested in adopting Miss Kitty, please fill out our online adoption application:
https://www.rimrockhumanesociety.org/contact-us/online-forms/cat-application/
Half of her adoption fee has been sponsored so it is only $45 to adopt this sweetheart.

BUTTERCUP-FEMALE-1-2 YEARS OLD
Sweet Buttercup came to us a very pregnant stray. She was so round she resembled a Buttercup squash- hence her name!
Orange tabby females are a bit on the unique side and her cute little manx tail just adds to her adorableness.
As she has now weaned her babies, been FLV/FIV tested, fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, Miss Buttercup is looking for a home of her own. She is a very lovey gal and will make some lucky person a wonderful companion.
If you are interested in adopting Buttercup, please fill out our online adoption application:
