First melon…got to a late start this season. This weather I’m sure has a lot to do with production as well but hey.🤷🏽‍♀️ These are seeds from last season. Petite yellow watermelon.🫶🏽

Featuring our now blooming roselle plants and lemon tree. I know I’ve should’ve upsized the lemon plant by now. It’s waaaaay too hot to do it now so I’m waiting. It was producing and I didn’t want to send it into shock. I think we might have lost our peach tree due to the heat. I’m excited about making tea and Jamaica from the roselles.

Excited to see our childhood park community center get a well deserved & needed remodel. Sad to see our first community garden removed. Hopefully it finds a new home on the grounds at Edgewood Park. We will watch the plans and revisit later in the year. For now The Adam Caesar Foundation has some other projects we’re working on and excited about. We truly enjoyed our five years at Edgewood Park. We learned a lot and watched people enjoy the pollinator garden and park benches we had installed. TACF had some amazing time shared with the community. Thanks HPARD for the partnership.🫶🏽
