Our wonderful partners, Warrior Spirit, receive a well deserved donation to support the needs of our nations Veterans🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

What an AMAZING way to close out Armed Forces Week … finding out that Warrior Spirit is receiving support from the H-E-B Operation Appreciation program for a women veterans project! 🇺🇸

We are beyond grateful and so excited to launch “Rise & Reclaim: A Wellness Initiative for Women Veterans” later this summer!

This new, year-long project will provide FREE opportunities for women veterans to connect through:
• Mental wellness education
• Individual and group peer support
• Trauma-informed peer support circles, including support for women veterans impacted by sexual assault trauma
• Outdoor therapeutic activities and experiences
• Fine arts-based experiences

One of the things we love most about this initiative is that participants will be able to choose the experiences that resonate most with them throughout the year, while building connection, community and support alongside other women who understand the journey.

Our heart behind Rise & Reclaim is to create a true wraparound of support … one that encourages healing, growth and meaningful connection.

After the initial shock of having to make a speech 🤣, I truly enjoyed meeting everyone in the room ❤️
Each nonprofit had the opportunity to speak about their mission, and guests voted on the organization of choice. While Rainbow didn’t win the most vote, we walked away incredibly blessed.

We received a donation, so many compliments on our students’ pottery, helpful advice, made connections. Win Win💜

Thank you to 100 Men & Women That Give a Damn Houston for a wonderful Connect Night, and Colin, it was great meeting you! MIke Zacharias, pleasure meeting your wife, thanks for opening the door to this opportunity.

Thankful to our partnership with Harvest for including our young adults in a special food project alongside other groups at their education building. 💜
Inspired, our students want to do more than their food journal but actually create their own poster sharing how food connects to their lives, memories, favorites, and traditions.
