Take Note Troupe

Take Note Troupe Changing the world for the better one performance and workshop at a time. TNT's foundational method PLAY THEORY is essential to TNT's success and versatility.

TNT has been providing award winning performances of Shakespeare in the Park for families for 20 years. PLAY THEORY's four principles facilitate powerful interpersonal communication and collaboration that serves participants long after they have left the stage. TNT's program includes-
-Annual Shakespeare Show
-Monthly family friendly On the Spot Improv Shows
-Weekly theater arts training for High

school, JHS and Grade School aged youth
-Musicals and Original Works

TNT has won numerous awards including local Regional Theater Elly awards, Utahn Shakespeare Festival and Western States Regional Improv awards. TNT's PLAY THEORY consists of four principles, let go & play, be 100% present, accept and build and look outward. These principles are foundational for positive interactions and synergy on stage and off. TNT's performances are opportunities for the participants to practice these skills setting them up to be positive contributors in their communities for the rest of their lives. The example these youth set on stage and off is inspiring and uplifting for all who attend. Visit PLAYTHEORY.org and like PLAY THEORY's page on Facebook for more info. Of note, TNT's adult leadership consists almost exclusively of volunteers.

It has been an absolute privilege to collaborate with Frank John of Yaaal Dance Studio and Mathura and Vastalya Viswanathan of Kaladhaara Arts in bringing Taming of the Shrew to the community stage.
It was important to us at Take Note Troupe as a youth development organization to have Indian choreographers on this show, not only so that our dancing would be authentic and true to the Indian arts, but in order to provide our youth with the opportunity to learn, study, and appreciate the culture represented in our Bollywood-inspired show.
We invite all to come and see, and hope that this offering to the community will be received in the spirit that it is offered- an opportunity to blend east and west and to show respect and admiration for the Indian culture.
With 10 FREE community shows, we especially invite our Indian friends and neighbors to attend!
