Who says senior dogs don't have pep in their step? ⚡️🐶

Meet Pixel! This adorable 12-year-old Chihuahua mix went on an adventure through Royer Park and Subaru at the Roseville Auto Mall with our volunteers. She won over everyone she met with her friendly nature, handled car rides like a total veteran passenger, and showed off her surprisingly swift walking pace!

Shortly after this trip, Pixel was adopted! 💙

If you're inspired to give an animal a fresh start, our partnership with AutoNation Subaru Roseville runs October 1–31, featuring reduced adoption fees on select animals! 🍂🧡

Go to placerspca.org to view our animals and schedule your visit today! 🏡

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED: MAGGIE + 6 PUPPIES 🚨

This sweet 2-year-old Shepherd mix came to us as a stray and gave birth to her puppies while in shelter care. Now, this young family is in critical need of a quiet, comfortable home where Maggie can raise her babies and they can get the socialization they need to grow and thrive!

Maggie is an attentive, loving mama who keeps her puppies clean and well-fed. She’s very social, loves spending time with people, and is mostly house-trained. She may also do well with other dogs in the home, though a dog-to-dog introduction will be required before sending her to her foster home.

🏡 What we need:
Ideally, a foster home through the puppies’ first 8 weeks, but we’re open to a commitment starting at 4 weeks!

We provide all necessary supplies and veterinary care. The puppies will simply need daily weigh-ins until they are 4 weeks old to make sure they’re growing appropriately. 💙

🐾 Can you foster Maggie and her six puppies? Please reach out to our Foster Team as soon as possible!

📩 Email: [email protected]
📞 Call: (916) 782-7722

Can’t foster? Please share! The right home could be just one share away. 🐾

It’s time for a heartwarming update featuring a brave feline friend, Atticus! 🐱✨

“When we first brought him home, he was pretty scared and hid until he heard our other cat, Grym. They introduced themselves and eventually started to play together and cuddle! It took a while, but he's finally snuggling with us and letting us pet him. He's doing fantastic and is an amazingly sweet and silly cat!” shares Atticus’s family. 🐾❤️

Want to help more pets like Atticus find their perfect match and settle into a loving home? Visit https://placerspca.org/ to view all of our adoptable animals waiting to meet you today! 💙
