During National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we're celebrating the talent, value, and unique contributions people with disabilities bring to the workplace every day.

When Elizabeth "Beth" Cole-Pope was searching for employment, many employers focused on what they thought she couldn't do. As a person who is deaf and blind, she faced barriers long before she ever had the chance to demonstrate her skills.

Today, Beth is a valued member of the PRIDE Industries team. In fact, the innovative cleaning techniques she developed have helped influence how other employees are trained.

Beth's story is a reminder that inclusive hiring isn't about lowering expectations. It's about creating opportunities for talented people to demonstrate what's possible. When employers focus on skills, potential, and performance, everyone benefits.

PRIDE Industries’ Darelyn Pazdel and Trace Martin were interviewed on Capital Public Radio’s Insight with Vicki Gonzalez. With the help of an ASL Interpreter, Trace shared about the I AM ABLE Disability Job Fair on October 14 and celebrated PRIDE Industries’ 60th Anniversary.

What a way to kick off National Disability Employment Awareness Month ( ). The National Organization on Disability held its annual conference, this year focused on "Technology and the Disability Experience," in New York City on October 1. Attendees explored how emerging tools impact accessibility, workplace inclusion, and workforce innovation. PRIDE Industries VP of Growth Erin Fleischmann and Philanthropy Director Tracy Snyder were there!

A great crowd came out today for the City of San Jose's Disability Inclusion Day Celebration. Hundreds of people attended, and dozens of resource tables were staffed by public and private organizations supporting residents with . Mayor Matt Mahann kicked off the day. PRIDE Industries was there--Mary Flores, Jordan Coggins, Jason Hemphill, and others were on hand to help job seekers take the next step in their employment journeys.
