The Grand Aerie is responsible for ensuring the Constitution, rules and procedures of the organization are followed by the State and Local Aeries. Grand conventions are held annually so the membership can provide input on the governance of the organization. Grand officers are also selected and voted into office at these conventions. State Aeries provide leadership and direction to the local Aeries
within the boundaries of their state or province. They also elect officers. Districts are formed from Aeries from the same geographical areas for the purpose of assisting each other on matters of mutual interest. Local Aeries operate under the rules of the Grand Aerie but also develop By-Laws that are more specific to their situation than what is spelled out in the Constitution and procedures of the Grand Aerie. Each Aerie has officers elected by the membership including a President, Vice President, Trustees, Chaplain, Secretary, Treasurer, and Conductor. There is also a Jr. Past President that assumes this office after serving as the President and an Auditor that is appointed by the President. Meetings: Roseville Aerie #1582 meets on the Second and Fourth Thursdays of each month at 7:00pm at the Eagles Hall. Auxiliary: A very important arm of the Roseville Eagles is Roseville Auxiliary #1582 founded in ______. The Auxiliary has a separate charter with their own By-Laws, but they are an integral part of the Eagle organization. They work side by side with the members of the Aerie in helping with fund raisers, charitable activates and putting on social events. They also do their own fund raisers in support of charities of their choice. Their officer structure is the same as that of the Aerie and the two organizations join together each year to initiate their officers. Committees: Local Aeries typically establish committees to plan and manage their activities. These include those dedicated to raising funds for various charities, planning official Eagle functions, planning social activities, coordinating membership drives, and building related projects. The Roseville Aerie recently established a Marketing Committee to develop a web site and establish other marketing efforts to increase membership. It also established a Remodeling Committee to continue efforts to upgrade the Hall.
