Brandon has chosen AllegiantVETS as his charity of choice in the L5 Investments Capital Cup, a three-day charity golf tournament that brings Sacramento-area leaders together for competition, community, and a powerful cause.

Inspired by the historic Ryder Cup format, every player competes on behalf of a charitable organization, and there's a lot more than bragging rights on the line.

🏆The winning team's designated charities will share a $100,000 prize fund.

For 251 years, the United States Navy has stood the watch, defending our nation, protecting freedom, and projecting strength across the seas.

From the sailors who first answered the call in 1775 to the men and women serving around the world today, generations of Sailors have carried forward a proud legacy built on Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

They have sailed into uncertainty.
They have stood ready in times of peace and conflict.
They have sacrificed time with family, endured long deployments, and answered our nation’s call, often far beyond the sight of those they serve.

Today, we honor more than 251 years of naval history. We honor every Sailor who raised their right hand, every family who served alongside them, and every veteran whose legacy continues long after the uniform comes off.

To those currently standing the watch, those who stood it before, and those preparing to take their place:

Fair winds and following seas.

May you continue to sail with courage, lead with purpose, and remember that the legacy of the United States Navy lives through you.

Today, as our nation observes Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day, we recognize the importance of understanding our shared history, acknowledging different perspectives, and honoring the cultures and contributions that have shaped our country.

At AllegiantVETS, we also recognize the generations of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and other Indigenous community service members and veterans whose courage, sacrifice, and commitment have helped defend our nation.

Their stories are an important part of our military history and deserve to be heard, remembered, and celebrated.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we recognize that every Veteran deserves to be heard.

This year's theme, "Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change," reminds us that meaningful change begins by listening to the people who have lived the experience.

For some veterans, those experiences are deeply personal.

Transitioning out of the military. Finding a new sense of purpose. Navigating relationships, careers, loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, or simply adjusting to a life that looks very different from the one you knew.

Every story is different. Every voice matters.

At AllegiantVETS, we believe supporting veterans means more than providing resources; it means listening to their experiences, learning from them, and making sure veterans have a voice in the conversations and programs designed to serve them.

After six years in the U.S. Air Force, Anya stepped into a season filled with change: leaving active duty, relocating from Hawaii to Texas, transitioning into the Air Force Reserve, beginning her civilian career search, starting an MBA program, buying her first home, and training for her first marathon.

PROGRAM UPDATE: WE'RE BACK!

The wait is over and we are back!

We're excited to share that the issue affecting our ability to accept new transitioning service members has been resolved, and AllegiantVETS is once again able to welcome new participants in our SkillBridge program.

To everyone who reached out, asked questions, remained patient, and continued moving forward with us during the pause, thank you. We know how important timing is when you're preparing to transition out of uniform, and we truly appreciate your patience while the issue was being addressed.

Please note that the program has not been updated on the DoW SkillBridge Locations site yet, and there may be a delay in the MoU reflecting in the service-specific databases. We recommend directing your chain of command and authorizing parties to the DoW Authorized Providers page: https://www.skillbridge.mil/organizations (Allegiant Giving Corporation dba AllegiantVETS)
