The water main replacement work is expected to be completed this week! The final step of paving is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27.

🏗️ Water Tower Repairs & Improvements

Also expected to wrap up this week. Once complete, we plan to bring the iron removal plant back online, with an anticipated date of Wednesday, October 28, provided no hiccups.

🏡 Your Tax Dollars at Work

When you pay taxes here in Romeo, you’re investing in your community. These projects are a direct example of those dollars going back into the village we all call home. From the water mains beneath our streets to the water tower that helps serve our Village, maintaining these essential assets today helps protect our investment and keep Romeo a great place to live for years to come.

We know construction projects can bring some temporary inconveniences, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important work comes together.

This is your village, your investment, and your future. Thank you for being part of what makes Romeo a great community! ❤️

The Village of Romeo’s leaf vacuum pickup will run from October 19 through November 25.

Residents are kindly asked to keep leaf piles contained on the easement and please do not push leaves into the street. Keeping leaves out of the roadway helps maintain safe driving conditions and keeps our streets and storm sewers clear.

Priority Waste final yard waste pick up for the year is November 27th.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep the Village of Romeo clean, safe, and beautiful this fall! 🍁
