A wonder-full time was had by all today at our last Stories With Steph of the summer!
After reading ‘Wonder Walkers’, the kiddos explored the sanctuary looking for different things. The key here was that the kids got to use their own imaginations to figure out which items matched the description on the card.

Yesterday was our last Book Club for the summer - The Trouble With Chickens! Special thanks to Catherine Van Tiem at AllState Insurance for donating the novels!
After treating the Marty's crew to some snacks, our Junior Detectives took on Case #79223 - Boots Is Missing!
They read a note from Detective Marty, took the Junior Detective of Marty's Place Oath and then they were off to solve the mystery!

Great news! Boots wasn't actually missing! He was just asleep in the Goatel!

Fun was found by all during our Found Art - Stories With Steph this morning!

After reading ‘Sky Color’ by Peter Reynolds, the children walked around the sanctuary looking for natural items with which they could make art.
