Big stuff set up in prep for Barnstormer Saturday. Two of three aircraft set to arrive this afternoon are on the ground. Have the A-26 and B-25 on the ground, the Cessna O2A is delayed until morning when rest of show aircraft are set to arrive.

Event filled weekend is upon us for EastTex Regional team members support at three Texas Eclipse events:

6 April - Wills Point Eclipse On the Bricks
7 April - Greenville Sports park Eclipse of the Heart Festival
8 April - Greenville Sports park Eclipse Watch Party

I shall be leading and coordinating our team support at Greenville Sports park on both days.

We are less than a full week away from full weekend of support for three Texas Eclipse events:
6 April - Wills Point Eclipse On the Bricks
7 April - Greenville Sports park Eclipse of the Heart Festival
8 April - Greenville Sports park Eclipse Watch Party
Currently we only have three people signed up for the 6th, six people signed up for the 7th and only four people signed up for the 8th. All events really need alot more people to support the increasing crowd size each day. All three events have sign up in DeployPro.net.
So please, please take the time to pick an event of two and sign up. FYI, the events in Greenville is only the third time in ten years that City has reached out and requested our CERT team support.

PSA - If you have a loved one that goes missing, especially on foot, Please, Please, do NOT wait to call 911. Call them immediately. Waiting 6 hours gives them a long time to get outside of the initial search area and can make or break the search efforts.

Easttex Regional CERT has been involved in a 3 day effort for an elderly man with dimentia who walked off and had a 6 hour head start. So far, all we can determine is that he left the large property. Game wardens used sonar on stock ponds on the property and CERT, K9 teams, and the Hunt County Sheriff's cleared the rest of the property. He's been on the move without water, or proper clothing, and we have bad weather coming. Without some sort of tip, it will be difficult to locate him in the wide area he could be in.

Please dont let this story be about one of your loved ones or one of your friends'. At the first sign that someone is missing, call 911 so searchers can get boots on the ground before its too late.
