🕷️ Creepy Crawlers: Where Nature Meets Art! 🕸️

Last week, we had so much fun at our Creepy Crawlers class at the Rockwall County Library! Students discovered the fascinating world of beneficial spiders in North Texas and learned how art can find a place in the garden.

Rockwall County Extension Master Gardener and Rockwall Art League member, Kathy Gutierrez, shared her incredible knowledge of spiders and her inspiring artwork. After exploring spider habitats and the important benefits spiders provide in our gardens, students created their very own spider art! 🕷️🖌️

🌸 Thank You for Joining Us for Daylilies Reimagined! 🌸

Last week, we hosted an information-packed class on Daylilies Reimagined! Attendees learned from daylily expert Donna Fernandez, Rockwall County Extension Master Gardener and daylily trial grower, about the beauty, versatility, and growing potential of these wonderful perennials in North Texas.

Everyone went home with a healthy bareroot daylily, ready to plant and enjoy in their own garden! A special thank-you to Donna for sharing her knowledge and passion for daylilies, and to everyone who joined us! 💚
