We have become an exciting and fun ﬁlled youth organization that works to instill reverence and respect for the outdoors with a strong focus on Fun with a Purpose! A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. A Scout's duty is to be useful and help others. A Scout is a friend to all, and a brother/sister to every other

Scout, no matter their country, class, or creed. We welcome Scouts from all over Rockwall County and primarily recruit from Stevenson, Hamm, Hays and Dobbs Elementary!

We are so proud to celebrate our scouts as they advance to their next adventures — welcome to our new Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts! 🐯🐺🐻⚜️🏹

This year was filled with growth, learning, leadership, service, outdoor adventures, and unforgettable memories. Our scouts worked hard, challenged themselves, learned new skills, and truly embodied what it means to be a Scout.

A very special thank you to our incredible leaders and volunteers for their dedication, time, and hard work throughout the year. Your commitment, encouragement, and passion help make these experiences possible and have a lasting impact on our scouts and families. Pack 896 would not be the same without you!

All students in grades K-5 are invited to strap on their fastest sneakers and come play with Cub Scout Pack 896 -- 6p Aug. 25 at 1200 E. Yellow Jacket Lane! Bring a helmet, enjoy a cookout, and learn all about the Cub Scouting program. Cub Scouts have outdoor adventures and learn life skills, teamwork, leadership and more. Proudly serving Stevenson, Hays, Hamm and Dobbs Elementary schools + Heritage Christian Academy + multiple homeschool co-ops.

Final Galveston stop was an overnight adventure at the Moody Gardens Galveston Aquarium Pyramid! Scouts got a private tour, stayed up wayyyy past bedtime playing educational games with museum staff, and got to sleep next to their choice of Seals/Seal Lions, Penguins, or a Caribbean reef exhibit with Black Tip Reef Sharks!
