The MBCC was proud to attend The Lorraine: A Screening and Conversation with Sam Pollard.

It meant so much to learn more about the story of the Lorraine Motel, and of Walter and Loree Bailey, with a full room in Silver Spring.

Thanks to Sam Pollard, Alvin Hall, Marjuan Canady, Delegate Jheanelle Wilkins , and the supporters at Montgomery College for a memorable evening.

The Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce was proud to attend the US Black Chambers (USBC) National Conference in Washington, DC!

This impactful gathering brought together Black chamber leaders, entrepreneurs, community advocates, corporate partners, and policymakers from across the nation to exchange ideas, build relationships, and explore new opportunities for economic growth.

Throughout the conference, we engaged in insightful discussions on shaping policy, expanding access to capital, strengthening chambers, and creating more opportunities for Black-owned businesses to thrive.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with leaders and organizations who share our commitment to advancing Black economic empowerment through leadership, collaboration, education, and advocacy.
