It was a pleasure attending the Business Resource Expo and Local Business Showcase in Columbia MD during Business Appreciation Week!

The event brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and resource organizations to explore opportunities for growth, access to capital, and business development.

From learning about Maryland's state contracting opportunities to exploring the resources available through the Maryland Innovation Center and gaining insights into the current lending climate, there was plenty of valuable information for businesses at different stages of growth.

The MBCC was proud to attend The Lorraine: A Screening and Conversation with Sam Pollard.

It meant so much to learn more about the story of the Lorraine Motel, and of Walter and Loree Bailey, with a full room in Silver Spring.

Thanks to Sam Pollard, Alvin Hall, Marjuan Canady, Delegate Jheanelle Wilkins , and the supporters at Montgomery College for a memorable evening.
