Today, our Women in the NAACP (WIN) Committee delivered WINCare toiletry kits to the Interfaith Works shelter today as part of honoring women and their needs during Women’s History Month. These kits were assembled with essential personal care items, including soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other hygiene products, to support individuals in transition. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to dignity, compassion, and meeting the immediate needs of those navigating housing insecurity and life transitions.

Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary whose courage and sacrifice forever changed the course of our nation.

WE are Dr. King’s legacy.

Every voice raised against injustice, every action taken to fight inequity, continues the tradition of progress he championed. We owe it to him—and to ourselves—not to let anyone drag us back to darker times.

So, we ask: What does honoring Dr. King look like to you? Let’s keep his dream alive.
