A huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the National Night Out on August 4th! The Redgate Farms community was delighted to welcome first responders from the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department and the Rockville City Police Department. So many neighbors contributed wonderful dishes and cooked for the crowd: Paulinho & Elisangela Mendes brought their grill and helped prepare the hamburgers and hot dogs. Patricio Campos & Paulinha Mendes brought the special beef that became the highlight of the barbecue. And Fernanda Thome & Antonio Carlos brought Brazilian soft drinks and a delicious corn cake. The Redgate Farms Community Association would also like to thank our board member Fariba Nabavi for leading the charge to organize the NNO celebration. It was a record turnout and a wonderful community event!

A big thanks to everyone who turned out for the Redgate Spring Cleanup! We scoured the common areas, the woods and along Norbeck and East Gude and found a discarded lamp, a tool kit and all kinds of litter. The neighborhood looks much better after the cleanup!

The RFCA board is aware of the tree branches that have fallen across the walking path leading to the lower parking lot. The board has contacted our landscaping service and they will cut up and remove the branches early next week. Please exercise caution if you use the walking path.
