USPPA The USPPA was formed in 2001 as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. The primary use of this page is to share key update by the board and volunteers.

Our mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance the sport of powered paragliding (AKA paramotoring).

VOLUME UP! Kyle Mooney scored the highest style points and sound effects bonus, securing second place on the national podium and third place overall in the US Paramotor Endurance Championship at Rough River, KY.

The competitors, volunteers, field Marshalls, and engine tech were all spot on and it was a fun event to watch!

First Place - Daniel Jones - Flying Vittorazi Moster EFI on Bulldog Frame with a Dudek Warp 3

Second Place - James Jensen - Flying a Moster 185 on a Fly Products Rider Frame with an Ozone Viper 5

Third Place - Kyle Mooney - Flying a Sky Engines 150 on a Fly Products Rider Frame with a Dudek Warp 3

Congratulations to Dan Jones (1st place), James Jensen (2nd place), and Kyle Money (3rd place), followed by Gillian Wintermute, Mike Carlson, Walo Cardenas, Grayson Bane, KaLeigh Biss, Chris "Banjo" Barnett, and Bobby Sutherland in the PF1 (foot launch) class, and Ricki "Kiwi" Boyle in the discovery class. The US Paramotor Endurance Championship at Rough River has come to an end, met the validity requirements as a Category 2 FAI sanctioned competition, and was a great example of collaboration of resources and experience from around the world. Thanks to Freedom Flight Academy for partnering with the USPPA to bring this event to life.
