Friday, about 1991 years ago today, in the year 33 A.D. (Anno Domini- In the year of the LORD) From Noon until 3:00 darkness fell across the land.
Covered in his own blood, naked with an open wound in his sword pierced side. About the ninth hour (3 p.m.), Jesus breathed his last breath and died. At the same time the priests were slaughtering the sacrificial Passover lamb.
A Roman soldier confesses that this was truely the Son of God. By 6 p.m. Friday evening, Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea took Jesus' body down from the cross and lay it in a tomb. Because the precious Law stated that work had to be done before the sabbath began.Friday's events are recorded in Matthew 27:1-62, Mark 15:1-47, Luke 22:63-23:56, and John 18:28-19:37.
A huge earthquake shook the land right at the very time Christ died.The Bible says at the exact time of Jesus' death, the earth trembled.The whole earth cried out for the death of the Savior.Although men placed him on the cross Jesus ultimately laid his own life down.

Thursday, About 1991 years ago today, in the year 33 A.D. (Anno Domini- In The year of the Lord) Holy Week takes a somber turn on Thursday. Jesus sent Peter and John ahead to the Upper Room in Jerusalem to make the preparations for the Passover Feast, which will be known as the Last Supper.. That evening after sunset, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples as they prepared to share in the Passover. By performing this humble act of service, Jesus demonstrated by example how believers should love one another. Judas left early in order to make sure he kept his part of the deal.
Later, Jesus and the disciples left the Upper Room and went to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed in agony to God the Father. Luke's Gospel says that "his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground".Late that evening in Gethsemane, Jesus was betrayed with a kiss by Judas Iscariot and arrested by the Sanhedrin. He was taken to the home of Caiaphas, the High Priest, where the whole council had gathered to begin making their case against Jesus.
Meanwhile, in the early morning hours, as Jesus' trial was getting underway, Peter denied knowing his Master three times before the rooster crowed.
By this time Jesus must have been exhausted and knowing what was about to come must have been a terrible thing to face. Thursday's events are recorded in Matthew 26:17–75, Mark 14:12-72, Luke 22:7-62, and John 13:1-38.

Today, Wednesday about 1991 years ago in the year 33 AD (The year of the LORD) Traditionally this day was called “Spy Wednesday,” for it was on this Wednesday before the crucifixion that Judas conspired to hand Jesus over. For this he was paid thirty pieces of silver (cf Mt. 26:14). Jesus likely spent the day in Bethany.

Holy Tuesday, About 1991 years ago today, in the year 33 A.D. (Anno Domini- The year of the Lord)
Jesus Christ taught in Jerusalem from early morning until late at night. This was the final teaching of the earthly Jesus. During his teachings, Jesus told all the parables listed in the Gospel of Matthew. On Holy Tuesday, some observe Jesus' predictions of his own death, as described in John 12:20-36 and John 13:21-38. Mark 11 20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. The fig tree was cursed the day before because it was a fruitless tree. That evening, Jesus relaxed in Bethany with a woman with an alabaster box. It was a foreshadow of Jesus' burial when she opened her box and poured the expensive perfume on his feet.

About 1991 years ago today, Monday, the year 33 A.D. (Anno Domini- The year of our LORD) according to Matthew 21:12-17, Jesus cleansed the temple in Jerusalem. He turned over the tables and told those selling in the temple that it was a house of prayer but they were making it a den of robbers.

Palm Sunday, around 1991 years ago this past Sunday was God’s chosen date of the year for the selection of the Passover lamb by the priests. This lamb would be sacrificed towards the end of the week. It is called "Palm Sunday" because when Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem on a c**t, he was greeted warmly by a crowd who covered the streets ahead of him with their cloaks and waved palm branches. JESUS presented Himself as the chosen sacrificial LAMB! When Jesus came to John the Baptist, John cried "Behold the LAMB of GOD who takes away the sin of the World"!
According to Matthew 21:1-11, the crowd sang "Hosanna ( Save Us) to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" People lining the streets and waving their palms for Jesus!

About 1990 years ago today, Monday, the year 33 A.D. (Anno Domini- The year of our LORD) according to Matthew 21:12-17, Jesus cleansed the temple in Jerusalem. He turned over the tables and told those selling in the temple that it was a house of prayer but they were making it a den of robbers.
Also on Monday, Jesus cursed the barren fig tree because it had leaves for no fruit.
