“When we shared that Refuge Ranch needed 22 new riding helmets, you responded with incredible generosity. In just a few days, you provided everything we needed and more.

Because of you, new helmets are now at the Ranch, ready to protect children as they ride, learn, build confidence and form meaningful relationships with their horses.

Because of you, every child who rides at Refuge will be safe and protected.

At Refuge Ranch, horses are at the heart of this mission because of what we can learn from working with them. Horses help children learn trust, patience, responsibility and confidence, often opening doors to relationships and healing that can be difficult to reach in other ways.

⭐10 More Volunteers Needed!⭐

We are scheduled to pick-up 300-400 hay bales Friday, September 4th at 5pm. We will be meeting at the ranch to meet & plan, then going to the field to gather the bales, stacking them on trailers, and returning to the ranch to stack them in the hay barn. We are hoping & praying to gather 20+ volunteers to help the staff with this huge task.

*volunteers need to be able to lift 50 pounds, repetitively.

We are SO excited to share some new spaces and new friends with you at our Animal Meet and Greets at the Mane Event!

This Summer, our staff and volunteer team worked hard to build a new animal interaction area including a brand new 'Rabittat'! Your family is sure to enjoy this new space at our Mane Event!

“My favorite memory from this summer was for my YMCA summer camp, RYse & Shine, to come out and experience the Ranch as one of our field trips. The summer camp serves youth very similarly to how Refuge does, so being able to give them the opportunity was so life-giving. Having two meaningful areas of my life come together brought as much joy as my campers felt when they got to experience every activity throughout the day.” -Tess (Refuge Ranch Summer Intern)
