Thoroughly enjoyed meeting with members of the UofR Simon Business School Sustainability Club to talk about how RENEW Climate Fund’s work with community partners results in better physical and mental health outcomes for clients living in healthier, safer homes AND reduces residential greenhouse gas emissions.
RENEW’s collective impact design serves as an example of the widespread economic and healthful impact climate-smart policies and practices have the potential to achieve. 💚🌍

The County is offering FREE Lead Training. The Renovation, Repair and Painting rule (RRP) affects anyone who is paid to perform work that disturbs paint in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978. This includes residential rental property owners/managers, general contractors, maintenance personnel and trade contractors including: HVAC, painters, plumbers, carpenters, and electricians.

The Monroe County Department of Public Health is sponsoring free lead training! All classes are being provided by Environmental Education Associates (EEA)

Celebrate National Energy Efficiency Day by learning about RENEW and the 1,000+ homeowners we've assisted.

grants from RENEW and community partners helped this SE ROC homeowner make residential energy efficiency improvements. This work decreased fuel usage by 11.63% and will keep 12.581 tons of out of our our atmosphere. 🌏💚

grants helped this NW ROC homeowner reduce fuel usage by 38.93%. These Energy efficiency improvements will keep 47.378 tons of residential gas emissions from entering our atmosphere. 🌏💚

RENEW Climate Fund had a great time Wednesday at the University of Rochester Environmental Health Sciences Center hosted national meeting of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Environmental Health Science Centers at Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester. Over 200 attendees from 20+ centers from all over the US shared projects and data. RENEW and other UREHSC community partners like the City of Rochester, Finger Lakes Children's Environmental Health Center, Monroe Co Dept of Public Health, and Rochester Ecology Partners were invited to share how we’ve all worked together over the years, on a variety of projects, to help make our community healthier and safer. 💚
