Dr. Taylor Squires, past MCDS President and 7DDS member, presented in the 5th District this week on “Breathe. Grow. Smile.”
Dr. Squires discussed the dentist’s role in airway screening and orthodontic expansion techniques, sharing his knowledge with about 45 dentists.

The Remote Area Medical (RAM) event, held in Mt. Morris on October 3–4, 2026, and hosted by the New York State Dental Foundation, brought together hundreds of volunteers to provide much-needed care to our community.
More than 200 volunteers, including 90+ dental volunteers, came together to provide care to 289 patients in need of dental, medical, and vision services. The majority of care provided was dental, with more than $229,000 in care delivered!

A new dental school is coming to New York! 🦷🏫

The University of Rochester will establish the Eastman School of Dentistry, with a planned DMD program pending approval by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and New York State.
