Today we went to HomeFront with over 5,000 diapers and helped sort and pack them for the moms who will come shop soon! Such a wonderful experience enjoying conversation while doing meaningful work for others. Thank you to all who sent diapers and monetary donations!!

Thank you to Ms. Rosen’s 4th grade class for making 25 blankets for us to donate to University Hospital in Newark! The students learned about Be Kind and Project Linus while they made the blankets. 👩🏻‍🏫 🧶 ♥️

Be Kind would like to share some exciting news, although somewhat bittersweet. Due to some changes in personal demands on time, Umang Naik and Tina Karkera both have decided to step down from the Be Kind Board and hand over the reins so the amazing work we do can continue. While we are sad to see them step down, we are grateful for all they have done over the years to make our organization what it is today and we know both Umang and Tina will continue to be strong volunteers for Be Kind.

With their departure comes a reorganization of the board and welcoming two new board members! Over the next few weeks you will see posts welcoming our new board members, Aditya Parab and Tarini Jalagam! We are so grateful that they have both stepped up to fill very big shoes and further the community service that Be Kind does. Your new Be Kind Board will be:

Vice President - Tarini Jalagam
Treasurer - Aksh*ta Naik
Secretary - Aditya Parab
