Thank you Mayor Freda, we are grateful that you chose to invest your Friday evening with IGNITE youth.
One message that especially resonated was your belief that if something needs to change, step forward and help change it. Your encouragement to our youth to develop the courage and conviction to lead, make the right decisions even when they may not be the easiest or most popular. Thank you also for emphasizing that a community doesn’t simply happen—it must be built, nurtured and preserved, through relationships, service, listening and shared responsibility. We value & appreciate the candor, humility and experiences you shared with our IGNITE youth.
