🇺🇸 Labor Day Holiday Notice 🇺🇸

Good Neighbors Community Kitchen & Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe, restful, and meaningful holiday with family and friends. ❤️

We’ll be back Tuesday, September 8th at 10:00 a.m. for Coffee & Conversation, followed by a delicious lunch served at 11:00 a.m.

🧡 Volunteers Make the Difference!

There’s always a little fun happening at Good Neighbors! 😊 From helping our guests choose their pantry items, packing fresh produce, organizing donations, to keeping things moving behind the scenes—we do it all together!

Our volunteers are truly the heart of what we do. 🧡 Their time, energy, laughter, and compassion help make sure our neighbors have access to the food they need.

Thank you to every volunteer who shows up, lends a hand, and helps us feed our community. We couldn’t do it without you! 🥕🍎🥫

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: The Heart Behind Good Neighbors RI 🌟

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on two amazing volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to the Good Neighbors Community Kitchen & Food Pantry. These volunteers cook both breakfast for our special Bingo Breakfast starts at 9:30am and lunch starting at 11:30am on Fridays!

From preparing and serving meals to helping create a welcoming space for our guests, our volunteers are an essential part of what makes Good Neighbors feel like family. Their dedication reminds us that giving back isn’t just about food—it’s about community, connection, and caring for our neighbors.

🔥 We’re looking for sponsors for All Fired Up! 2026! 🔥

On December 5, Good Neighbors will bring our community together for All Fired Up!, our one-of-a-kind Community Kitchen Cook-Off at the East Providence High School CTC!

All Fired Up pairs Good Neighbors Community Kitchen volunteers with EPHS culinary students for a fun, high-energy cooking competition—all in support of our mission to ensure our neighbors have access to the healthy food they need.

Last year, nearly 350 people joined us and the event raised more than $50,000 to support Good Neighbors. This year, we’re inviting local businesses, organizations, and community partners to help us make an even greater impact.

❤️ Sponsorship is more than supporting a great event—it’s an investment in a basic need for our neighbors. Your support helps Good Neighbors continue providing healthy food with dignity, choice, and care to thousands of individuals and families in our community.
