Good Neighbors is looking for volunteers to help us continue serving thousands of Rhode Islanders with healthy food, compassion, and community. From preparing meals to supporting our food pantry, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. 🧡

Last week, the students and staff of the East Providence High School Ceramics and Culinary Departments once again reminded us what community care looks like through their annual Empty Bowls fundraiser benefiting Good Neighbors.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued support and partnership, and especially thankful to Tricia Chapman and her students for the time, creativity, and heart they pour into this event each year. From the beautiful handcrafted bowls to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, Empty Bowls is such a meaningful reminder of how art, food, and community can come together to make a real impact.

Events like this not only help raise critical funds and awareness for hunger relief efforts in our community — they also inspire hope. Seeing young people use their talents to care for their neighbors is truly powerful.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, created, cooked, volunteered, and supported this special event. We are so fortunate to have such compassionate community partners.
