The Traditional “Strawberry” Festival is back! Even though there was not a strawberry to be found, what was found at the RW32 June 2026 Stated Communication last evening was an enormous amount of fellowship, food, and fun! Rainbow Girl Zoe and the Stewards did an amazing job with a spread of food that was amazing! The DDGM from the Northern District was in attendance as well as 3 lodges represented from outside the district, daughters, mothers, wives, and friends. It was a great evening, hope to see you there next time!

Congratulations to Brother Curt Abbott for receiving the Silver Beaver Award! This is an incredible honor in recognition of all the great work, dedication and time spent towards scouting. You deserve it!

🎉 Join Us for the Annual Recognition Dinner! 🎉

Celebrate the outstanding volunteers who make Scouting possible—including this year’s Silver Beaver Award recipients!

The Silver Beaver Award is one of the highest honors a local council can bestow upon a volunteer. It recognizes individuals who have given exceptional service to Scouting at the council level—going above and beyond to positively impact youth, leaders, and the Scouting movement.

This year, we are proud to honor Curtis Abbott, an Eagle Scout with over 31 years of adult leadership and a lifetime of dedication to Scouting. Curtis currently serves as Advancement Chair for Troop 1 Conimicut and Chair of the Narragansett Council Jewish Committee on Scouting and has held numerous leadership roles throughout his Scouting journey. His commitment to youth development and living the Scout Oath and Law exemplifies the spirit of Scouting.
