Day 6 of National Prevention Week: Spotlighting the Prevention Technology Transfer Center Network Coordinating Office (PTTC NCO)

Addressing the effects of substance misuse is ten times more costly than preventing it before it starts. To this end, ORN works collaboratively across all of SAMHSA’s programs to enhance resources addressing opioid and stimulant use disorders.

In collaboration with the PTTC Network, ORN translates prevention science into action, equipping professionals with the knowledge to implement sustainable prevention strategies. Since 2018, the PTTC has held more than 5,000 training sessions and reached nearly 300,000 prevention professionals worldwide, providing prevention professionals with the tools they need to keep communities healthy and strong.
