Extremely proud and grateful to see the new resource wall officially installed at the South 8 Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Tufts Medical Center! 🏥✨

Our goal has always been to ensure patients and families never have to navigate their journey alone. This beautiful new space makes vital supportive resources visible, accessible, and empowering.

A heartfelt thank you to Akanksha and the incredible team at Tufts for bringing this to life, and to everyone whose continued generosity makes these meaningful projects possible. ❤️

March Madness is back, and so are the Borges boys!

The return of tournament season also signals the countdown to our Golf Fights Cancer marathon this June. This year, Tyler and Owen Borges are leveling up from a duo to a proper foursome, welcoming MHFF Board Member Barry Mello and friend Tyler Costa to the team!

To kick off our fundraising, we’re hosting a 50/50 March Madness Bracket. It’s $30 per team and open to everyone:

$15 goes directly into the pot for cash prizes.

$15 goes to MHFF, helping us fund grants that improve the lives of cancer patients throughout MA and RI.

Note: Cash payouts for the top three finishers will be determined once the final bracket count is in. 🏀

Signs of spring... blue skies, lunch break by the delivery bay, and a cart full of Comfort Bags 💙

On Tuesday we had the privilege of dropping off a fresh batch of Comfort Bags at Tufts Medical Center. Thank you to the incredible doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who welcomed us — and for letting us infiltrate North 8 for a bit!

And a special thank you to Denise (North 8 nurse pictured) who helped make the delivery extra special.

The Michael H. Flanagan Foundation is deeply grateful to AMETEK Brookfield and the for their generous support. Brookfield nominated our foundation in recognition of more than 24 years of providing comfort and care to leukemia and bone marrow transplant patients and their families. This meaningful donation helps further our mission to enhance quality of life and raise awareness for those facing incredibly challenging journeys.
We were honored to visit the Brookfield Team on December 22, 2025, and to share this special moment. Christine Griffin, MHFF Director, and Mike and Kathy Flanagan, parents and founders are pictured with the Brookfield team including MHFF Board Member and Brookfield Global Divisional Vice President of Sales Greg Greenberg, during the check presentation.
