AFP Inland Empire is a member of AFP International – an association of fundraising professionals with chapters in the United States, Canada, Mexico

and Hong Kong. AFP serves our profession through a Code of Ethical Principles and Standards, education, advocacy and communication to our members and the general public. AFP Inland Empire Chapter is comprised of professional fundraisers who represent a variety of educational, health and community-based institutions and nonprofits. Our growing chapter encompasses more than 27,000 square miles, including all of San Bernardino County and most of Riverside County, excluding the Desert Region (Coachella Valley). The Inland Empire is bordered by Orange, Los Angeles and Kern counties to the west, San Diego and Imperial counties to the south, Inyo County to the north and the borders of Arizona and Nevada to the east. The Inland Empire Chapter of AFP was started in 1992 by a group of local fundraisers who had been part of other AFP chapters in bordering counties and wanted to establish a chapter to serve the educational and training needs of fundraisers in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. The Chapter submits an annual report to the national office verifying it is operating in accordance with the mission, values, policies and practices of the national organization to maintain its affiliate status.
