Rio Rico Family Resource Center The UA Cooperative Extension FRC supports families with children aged 0-5 for kindergarten readiness.

The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Family Resource Center has a threefold strategy: basic needs; education and community outreach. We provide resource and referral to help families obtain the information they need to meet their basic needs. We provide education in the form of more than 20 different classes and activities to help children meet their developmental milestones, to help ad

ults built their parenting skills and to
improve parent child interaction. We also work with schools and other community organizations to raise awareness about the importance of early learning and to build a network of providers that supports families in their effort to ready their children for Kindergarten. The Family Resource Center has a partnership with the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona to help meet our families basic needs.
