Today, we celebrated the April Students of the Month from Nogales High School!

Every month our Lions Club is proud to recognize NHS students who show leadership, character, and commitment in the classroom and community. These students represent the best of Nogales — hard work, kindness, and school pride.

Congratulations to our April honorees! Keep shining and setting the example for others. We’re proud to celebrate you.

Big Lions pride! Two outstanding Nogales High School students have been selected for the Lions International Youth Exchange Program— what an incredible opportunity!

Pamela Carabjal, NHS senior and President of Leo’s Club, will be traveling to Cava’d Tirreni, Italy to experience the culture, language, and service with Lions families abroad.

Athena Andres, NHS Salutatorian, will spend 3 weeks in Paris, France as part of her exchange.

We’re so proud of these young leaders representing Nogales, our schools, and the Lions on the international stage. Safe travels and enjoy every moment!

So proud of our Lions Club! 🦁🇺🇸 We brought the Flags for 1st Graders project to our local elementary school and handed out American flags to every 1st grader — teaching them about our flag, what it represents, and why we honor it.

Huge thank you to all the Lions who showed up, helped organize, and made the kids smile! Your service makes these moments possible. Thanks to Lion Sandra Moraga for coordinating this project!
