More than 20 years ago, it started with one simple question:
“I wonder… how can I keep my child engaged?”
That question changed everything.
When we chase curiosity, embrace wonder, and give ourselves permission to ask “what if?”—a whole new world can appear.
What began with a few homeschool moms looking for ways to challenge their children and direct their energy has grown into a thriving STEM hub in our community. Today, we partner with schools, businesses, and organizations to create opportunities that help shape the future through STEM.
Our beginnings were humble.
Our dreams are anything but…

From Intern to TEDxABQ Speaker!

We’re celebrating Miranda and the incredible journey that began as an R4Creating intern!

Our interns don’t just observe—they create, lead, problem-solve, and make an impact.

As part of her internship, Miranda was challenged to develop curriculum for our first-ever Curiosity Camp—a hands-on STEM experience where students explored robotics, coding, engineering, sustainable design, and innovation challenges designed to stretch their curiosity.

And she didn’t stop there!

After helping bring Curiosity Camp to life, Miranda was invited to speak at this year’s TEDxABQ event!

This is exactly why we believe in giving young people meaningful opportunities to turn their ideas into action and their curiosity into leadership.

We are SO proud of Miranda—and incredibly proud of all of our R4Creating interns who continue to amaze us with their curiosity, innovation, creativity, and determination.

This is what happens when learners are given the opportunity to become leaders!

Calling all our littlest innovators!

Join us for a FREE STEAM Storytime designed especially for curious kids ages 3–7!

We’ll bring a great story to life with fun, hands-on STEM activities that encourage kids to imagine, explore, create, and discover.

Friday, September 18 AND/OR Saturday, September 19
10:00–11:00 AM
At the R4Creating center
FREE!

Registration is required, so be sure to save your little learner’s spot!
