In search of a hospice foster for Sadie ..

Meet Sadie β€” an 11-year-old Boxer/Mastiff mix whose world changed overnight when her beloved elderly owner passed away. After losing the only home she knew, Sadie ended up at the county animal shelter before moving into a temporary foster home.

We would love to welcome Sadie into the Argos Love At Last Hospice Program, but first we need a hospice foster for her.

Sadie’s current foster mom describes her as a really good dog β€” smart, friendly, gentle, and very trainable. She currently lives peacefully with two other large dogs and two cats, doing well with all of them.

Like many senior dogs, Sadie has some vision and hearing deficits along with minor arthritis in her back legs. But that doesn’t stop her from enjoying these cool New Mexico mornings or lounging comfortably in the house as the day warms up. She has excellent house manners and simply wants a peaceful, loving place to feel safe.

What Sadie needs most is stability and kindness. A loving hospice foster home would give this loyal girl the comfort she deserves.
