We embrace the neediest cats regardless of age, most medical issues, or temperament, making us a harbor of hope for the most desperate. Most of our cats go on to be adopted; but those who aren’t find a loving home for life at Tabby’s Place. Unique Features of our Sanctuary:
• Free-roam shelter with communal living environments for cats, with plenty of horizontal and vertical space for exercise and play.
• Outdoor enclosures for cats to enjoy fresh air and sunlight.
• Accommodates cats with a variety of health or behavioral issues.
• Accommodates FeLV+ and FIV+ cats.
• Contains an in-house medical facility.
• Uses specialized materials to facilitate cleaning and encourage a disease-free environment.

Just as a tender seed can be coaxed into bloom, Kiki's has been remembering how to trust and love. Find out more on today's blog by Kitty LeFey:

Our Tabby’s Place ambassadors were in their “happy place” at the “Catsbury Park Covention.” They enjoyed meeting many of the more than 2,500 visitiors and being able to share the magic of Tabby’s Place! Thank you for taking time to stop by our booth and for supporting our mission to “Save Cats from Hopeless Situations!”

We buy Kit Kats. They ARE kit kats.

We carve pumpkins with butter knives. They carve everything, with their own hands.

We wear masks. They would never do such a thing.

Cats are better at Halloween than we are. And today on our blog, they'll help us try to get it right. (Even Winky, who would be the neighborhood grump who puts out a bowl of brussels sprouts for the trick-or-treaters.)

Mandarin came to us a very zesty orange. He lived most of his three years as a colony cat with limited human interaction, so he would shrink from our attention.

But thanks to an infinite supply of love and patience from our staff and volunteers, Mandarin is starting to come around!

Of course, we always knew he was a sweet citrus under that rough peel. We just had to earn his trust and let him know it was safe to be sweet.

Around here, we're used to surprises. Miracle recoveries, the spicy cat turning sweet... and one of our favorite kinds of surprise is two cats finding friendship.

Boq and Taco don't have much in common on paper: Taco is six years old and Boq is a young lad of just eleven months. Taco arrived alone; Boq came with siblings. But they're both a little shy, and found comfort in one another's company.

These days it's rare to see one without the other, and their friendship has made them more open to human attention!

Obviously we would love to find these sweet boys a home together. But they would also do well in a home with other FeLV+ cats who can help them feel safe.

And since our reduced adoption fee of just $50 is valid through tomorrow... it's a great time to take these two precious Halloween treats home!
