All of the Tibetan Mastiffs with Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. thank you so much for the donations made from George G, Bonnie C, Deb and Alan L, Shannon D, Kimberley and Vaughn C, Sandra T and her company match, Jen M, Brian Z, and to those who shopped Bonfire T-shirts and at stores participating in iGive. All of these contributions went 100% to the upkeep and wellbeing of the Rescues. We also have received several WishList donations anonymously, which delighted our Rescues. We and they are so grateful.

This is Olympia. Olympia is a mature girl that is being fostered in NJ. Olympia looks serious but, in fact, we suspect she is plotting on how to steal shoes….. Olympia is great with people and dogs, large and small. We have not cat tested her.

We absolutely love it when our alumni check-in. This is George, who lives in Texas with another TM rescue, not from us, as well as his very own child who was born after George was adopted. We think it’s safe to say that she may be the most protected child in all of Texas.😆 George also has his kid’s pony, Marshmallow, to hang out with. You may notice that there’s not much size difference between George and marshmallow.🤣🤣🤣

James, a recent arrival, came with some skin issues which are being treated. He just had his first medicated bath, which he enjoyed. Of course, nobody told him that he was going to have another one in five days and he may feel differently about that one.🙄 So far, James has been great with people and other dogs and will be ready for a new home very soon. James is in Tennessee.

I was planning to wait just a bit longer to kick off our fall fundraiser, but...
Over the last couple of weeks, Tibetan Mastiff Rescue, Inc. has had several new pups come into their care, and with every new arrival comes vet care, food, supplies, transportation, and everything else it takes to get these dogs healthy, safe, and ready for their next chapter.
So… why wait?
The fall fundraiser is officially starting a little early so we can help get some extra funds headed their way when they need them most. Every shirt purchased, every donation made, every post shared, and every bit of support helps the rescue continue saying YES when another Tibetan Mastiff needs them.
And if fundraiser goodies aren’t your thing but you’d still like to help, the rescue also has Amazon and Chewy wish lists filled with items they need for the dogs in their care. 🧡

Mozart the Large is our one dog on the West Coast, in the Los Angeles area. Mozart is a TM/St. Bernard mix. Mozart takes a while to warm up to new people but once he knows you, you could not find a more loyal companion.

The beautiful, if somewhat disheveled, Nina is in Tennessee. Nina is a very sweet girl, about four years old, who was surrendered to animal control from getting out of her yard one time too many. Absolutely secure fencing is a must. Nina is very good with people and with other dogs and would really like to get out of the kennel sooner rather than later.

Olympia is a mature girl who is wonderful with people and other dogs, large and small. She is currently being fostered in New Jersey and her only requirement for a new home is that there must be many, many, many beds available to her.

A quick update on one of our alumna, Ophelia. Ophelia showed a remarkable talent for growing a gigantic infiltrative lipoma which had to be removed surgically. In order to save her from the embarrassment of the cone of shame, Ophelia decided to rock some T-shirts and, of course get ready for shark week bye playing with toy sharks and eating many many shark cookies! We think it’s safe to say that Ophelia approves of her home.

The beautiful Miss Sybil, one of the last of the Illinois 27 to still be looking for a home. Fortunately, for Sybil, she is being fostered in Tennessee. She lives with Kansang and Orion, two other rescues that are being fostered by Libby, and has become a very good girl. She loves other dogs., She has learned how to walk on a leash and is learning how to be a house dog. Please do not forget Sybil.
