Showcasing our returning senior perennials for our no-cost wellness farm program, taking glamour shots with their favorite equines inspired by the ‘90s Mall Style Nostalgia. It’s been so inspiring to watch our senior students laugh and learn new skills, reminisce and indulge in their horse dreams, because dreams never expire and wellness is never out of style.

And many thanks to for sponsoring these sessions for our seniors and supporting all our dreams and those of so many families! She’s truly an incredible steward, and we feel so lucky to call her a fellow dreamer.

And just like that! We extended our no-cost parent support group sessions at the barn, but this time on mounted horseback! We shared big smiles together, some tears, and lots of big breaths because caregiver burnout and parental exhaustion are silent epidemics affecting over 60% of family caregivers!

One aspect of our Dream Riders (therapeutic riding for children with special needs) program that I absolutely love is our ground days where we engage in stewardship, connection, and wellness! We might be cleaning our saddles, leading the horses through an obstacle course, bottle feeding baby goats, or casting spells in the goat paddock! But it’s all about wellness and community, because don’t we all need to know that we are not alone and that there are people (two and four footed) always rooting for us?

Chasing dreams and making new friends! DW was recently invited to present at the symposium held at to showcase how our farm unicorns can bring magic to families impacted by pediatric cancer. We’re envisioning farm wellness camp where children can ride horses dressed up as fairy godmothers and dinosaurs and hug goats and pet bunnies and teenagers can practice horsemanship and lead their equine partners through empowering obstacle courses and more! A day where the whole family can breathe, laugh, and thrive together - with the magic of our farm where horses and humans create wellness together. Let’s make it happen 🌈

Our second annual Dream Riders Horse Showcase was the perfect representation of our non-profit’s mission: where horses and humans create wellness. It was a day full of wonder, heart, and community. We cheered on our Dream Riders who displayed all their riding achievements and just came together as a community to laugh, smile, and find joy together, united by the cause that everyone deserves a safe, inclusive place and that horses are pure magic. We are so grateful to all our volunteers and staff who made this possible, to the Baldwin Foundation for sponsoring this program, to all our dreamers, donors such as Linda Okupski Realtor and Dream Scholars as well as our incredible fleet of vendors. Thank you all, and terrific accolades to our Dream Riders! Spots for our next riding semester will be opening in June!!
