Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps

As current President of Amwell Valley Ambulance Corp (AVAC), I would like to state that comments made by other members on social media are their personal opinions and not the opinions of AVAC as a whole. AVAC has served East Amwell residents with pride and dignity since 1957 and will continue to support our residents and surrounding EMS agencies as we go through this difficult change in our mission.
Lambertville New Hope Ambulance Rescue Squad (LNHARS) has served and supported our community for decades and will continue to give the highest level of EMS care to East Amwell residents as the township's new primary EMS agency. Call times will be affected due to proximity but no more than it has always been when the volunteers at AVAC were not on duty and the neighboring agencies responded into East Amwell.
I hope the residents of East Amwell Township support LNHARS as they have supported Amwell Valley Ambulance Corp for decades.
If anyone has questions that I can answer for them feel free to send me a message.
It has been an honor working alongside our members and serving our community!

Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps wants to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July!

The summer months bring many kinds of weather; storms, extreme heat, etc. Please stay safe, hydrate, and make smart decisions this holiday weekend! If you see emergency responders on the road, please yield to them, move over, and listen to any directions they may give you.

Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps spent last Saturday staffing the Hunterdon County Community Day at the 4-H Fairgrounds. We were visited by Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance & Rescue Squad, the Deputy Coordinator of OEM, and many others!

We love to be at community events, helping people, educating, and having a great time with the public. If you see us out and about, please say hi!

🚑 Support Your Local Volunteers! 🚑

Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps is an all-volunteer ambulance squad that provides emergency medical services completely free of charge to patients. That means when they respond to a call, families are never billed for their care or transport. They rely heavily on donations and community support to keep serving our area.

We are hosting a small basket auction fundraiser as a trial run, and we’d love your support! There are some great items available, and every bid helps support lifesaving volunteer EMS services in our community.

📦 Winners can pick up items during the first week of June, and many items can also be shipped for out-of-state supporters. Keep checking back as more items may be added as the month goes on!

Please share with your friends and family!
