✨💙 44th Annual Leadership Conference 💙✨

Top Ladies of Distinction & Top Teens of America – Effingham Chapter proudly represented at the 44th Annual Leadership Conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee!

From powerful workshops to unforgettable moments of sisterhood and leadership, this conference was filled with both learning and FUN. Our teens had the opportunity to explore their futures through college tours at American Bible College, Fisk University, and Tennessee State University.

We are beyond proud to celebrate TWO of our very own Top Teens who were awarded scholarships during this experience! Several of our very own ladies also graduated from the Area IV enrichment institute.

❤️ Spreading Love This Valentine’s Day ❤️

On today, our ladies showed up at the Treutlen House to spread a little love by donating snacks, paper products, and laundry detergent to the boys in the home.

We are so proud of the compassion and servant leadership shown by our teens and ladies. Special thanks to everyone who contributed and helped make this act of kindness possible.

Let this be a reminder that love isn’t just for one day — it’s something we should share daily with everyone we encounter.

❤️ Why Heart Health Month Matters ❤️

Heart Health Month is a reminder that taking care of our hearts isn’t just important later in life—it matters right now. Heart health starts with everyday choices like staying active, eating balanced meals, managing stress, and getting enough rest.

Many heart-related conditions begin developing early, often without symptoms, which is why awareness and prevention are so important. By learning healthy habits now, we can reduce the risk of heart disease and set ourselves up for a stronger, healthier future.

This month encourages us to pause, educate ourselves, support one another, and make small changes that have a big impact. Our hearts work hard for us every day—let’s take time to protect them. ❤️

Our Top Teens had a very busy and meaningful weekend! 💙💗

From induction to honoring a powerful legacy, our teens proudly served throughout Effingham County. They participated in the Effingham County MLK Parade, assisted with posting MLK posters at the MLK program venue, and handed out care bags to our local senior citizens.

To our newly inducted teen — we are SO proud of you and excited to watch you serve our community with excellence and purpose! 🌟

On MLK Day, we honored the life, legacy, and sacrifice of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His courage to stand for justice—despite threats, violence, and ultimately the loss of his life—paved the way for freedoms so many benefit from today.

Dr. King believed that change does not come through hate or silence, but through love, courage, and unwavering faith in humanity. Because he dared to dream, barriers were broken, laws were changed, and generations were empowered to walk paths once denied.

His sacrifice reminds us that progress is not free—it is paid for by those willing to stand up when it’s uncomfortable, speak out when it’s risky, and keep going when the cost is high.

May we continue to honor his legacy not just in words, but in action—by choosing justice, equality, and compassion every day.
