Sometimes making a difference doesn’t have to be something big.

A meal for a family who needs it. A helping hand when someone is struggling. A box of groceries, a light bill paid, or simply reminding someone that they are not alone.

At Working For A Purpose Foundation, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Our goal is to serve families in our community, provide support when it is needed most, and show the love of Christ through action.

We are always thankful for those who choose to give their time and serve alongside us. Whether you have an hour, a few hours a week, or simply want to help when you can, there is a place for you here.

You don’t have to do something extraordinary to make an impact. Sometimes, simply showing up and helping is exactly what someone else needs.

🎄 CHRISTMAS ANGELS REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 🎄

The Christmas season may still be a little ways away, but we are already preparing for our Christmas Angels event at Working For A Purpose.

Christmas Angels is for single-parent families in need, helping provide free Christmas gifts for their children. Our goal is to make sure every child has a Christmas gift under the tree this year.

If you or someone you know could use a little help this Christmas, please share this post and encourage them to register. Registration is open now through November 30th.

We encourage families to sign up as soon as possible. Registering early helps us prepare and make sure we are ready to provide gifts for the children in our community.

If you know a family who may benefit from Christmas Angels, please share this with them. You never know who may be quietly struggling this holiday season.

Working For A Purpose was created to support single-parent families in our community because we know how hard it can be to do everything on your own.

We help families with some of the things that can become overwhelming, including help with rent, keeping the lights on, food, clothing, personal hygiene products, and making sure children have access to the resources they need.

Our goal is to come alongside families during difficult seasons and remind them that they don't have to face everything alone.

There are several ways you can help us continue this work:

• Donate online: Visit our website at workingforapurpose.org to make a financial donation.

• Donate food: Bring nonperishable food items to our small food pantry box.

• Donate personal hygiene products: Items like toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and other basic necessities are always needed.

OUR COMMUNITY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Working For A Purpose Foundation is collecting donations to help keep our community pantry and basic necessities resources stocked for families and individuals who may be in need.

We are currently accepting:

🥫 DRY & CANNED FOOD
Help us keep our small food pantry box stocked with items that families can grab when they need a little extra help.

📍 DONATION DROP-OFF:
5505 McCall Road, Rincon, GA, 31326

You can bring donations by ANYTIME and leave them in our small food pantry box outside our office. If the box is full, you can drop donations off at our office and we will refill the pantry box as needed.

🧴 PERSONAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS
We are accepting NEW & UNUSED hygiene products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and other everyday necessities.

🧻 BASIC NECESSITIES
We are also accepting donations of other basic household and personal necessities that can help families in our community.

We want to take a moment to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to Gateway Church for their incredibly generous donation to Working For A Purpose Foundation.

We are truly so grateful for your generosity and for your willingness to invest in the people of our community. Your donation is going to make a real difference.

Because of Gateway Church, we will be able to purchase hygiene products and everyday necessities that we can offer to people in need. This will give families and individuals who may be struggling an opportunity to access basic items that everyone deserves to have.

We’re Collecting Donations to Help Our Community ❤️

We are currently looking for donations of feminine products, body care items, hygiene necessities, and other everyday essentials to help us stock our store.

We will be offering these items at very low, affordable prices so that individuals and families in our community can access the necessities they need without breaking the bank.

But there’s an even bigger purpose behind every purchase at I Heart Treasures. All purchases at our store go directly toward helping families in our community, from helping pay rent and keep the lights on to providing support for children and families who are going through difficult seasons.

We also want to remind our community that Working For A Purpose offers vouchers for single-parent families in need. Single parents can apply to participate in one of our classes and receive a voucher to shop at our store for FREE clothing, hygiene products, necessities for their children, and personal essentials.

Today, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our incredible community.

Working For A Purpose started with a simple heart: we wanted to help children in single-parent households have access to the clothing, houseware, and everyday necessities they needed.

That dream eventually grew into I Heart Treasures, our thrift store made possible because of YOUR generosity and support.

Every donation.

Every person who walks through our doors.

It all makes an impact.
