A helping hand when bills pile up.
School clothes for a child whose parent is struggling.
Or simply reminding someone that they are not alone.

That’s why Working For A Purpose exists.

We believe that no family should have to face difficult seasons without support. Our mission is to come alongside single-parent families and provide practical help when they need it most.

Every donation, volunteer hour, shared post, and act of kindness helps us continue that mission.

We’re not just helping families get through a hard season. We’re helping them move forward.

We’re Collecting Donations to Help Our Community ❤️

We are currently looking for donations of feminine products, body care items, hygiene necessities, and other everyday essentials to help us stock our store.

We will be offering these items at very low, affordable prices so that individuals and families in our community can access the necessities they need without breaking the bank.

But there’s an even bigger purpose behind every purchase at I Heart Treasures. All purchases at our store go directly toward helping families in our community, from helping pay rent and keep the lights on to providing support for children and families who are going through difficult seasons.

We also want to remind our community that Working For A Purpose offers vouchers for single-parent families in need. Single parents can apply to participate in one of our classes and receive a voucher to shop at our store for FREE clothing, hygiene products, necessities for their children, and personal essentials.

Today, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our incredible community.

Working For A Purpose started with a simple heart: we wanted to help children in single-parent households have access to the clothing, houseware, and everyday necessities they needed.

That dream eventually grew into I Heart Treasures, our thrift store made possible because of YOUR generosity and support.

Every donation.
Every volunteer hour.
Every purchase.
Every person who walks through our doors.

It all makes an impact.

When you shop at I Heart Treasures, your purchase is helping us provide support to families in our community who are going through difficult times, helping with necessities like keeping the lights on, having a safe place to stay, and making sure children have the things they need.

That’s why we do what we do at Working For A Purpose. We believe that helping people isn’t always about doing something huge. Sometimes it’s simply showing up when someone needs you most.

Because of your generosity, every purchase made a difference right here in our community. The proceeds help Working For A Purpose continue supporting single-parent families in our area with resources, assistance, and hope. We truly couldn't do it without each and every one of you.

It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and watching our community come together for such a great cause. Thank you to everyone who shopped, donated, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success!
