Every ministry has faces that are seen and hands that are unseen.
As I reflect on our recent mission trip across Nigeria, I am especially grateful for two faithful brothers who serve as the frontliners of Lux In Tenebris in Nigeria.
While many saw the conferences, the preaching, the seminars, and the thousands of books being distributed, these brothers were working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all possible. They labored daily to ensure that sound biblical resources continued making their way to pastors and churches across Nigeria.
They endure all sorts of push back and insults. They travel across dangerous terrains to get sound biblical resources to places where they are lacking.
On this trip, they made sure we had a place to sleep, food to eat, and transportation to get us safely from one location to another. They loaded and unloaded books, coordinated logistics, solved problems before they became crises, and served with remarkable joy and faithfulness.
Kingdom work is never accomplished by one man. It is the fruit of many faithful servants laboring together for the glory of Christ and the good of His church.
To our ministry partners and supporters: your prayers and generosity make it possible not only to place sound biblical resources into the hands of men and women, but also to support faithful men like these who stand on the frontlines of this work every day.
Joel Uzamere and Gambo Dauda, thank you for your sacrifice, your servant-hearted labor, and your unwavering commitment to seeing the light of God's truth shine throughout Nigeria.
"The Lord is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do." — Hebrews 6:10
