Habitat for Humanity of Effingham County GA Habitat for Humanity of Effingham County is a volunteer-driven organization. Construction opportunities are usually scheduled on Saturdays.

Habitat for Humanity of Effingham County is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with God and families in need. Though the vast majority have no con

struction experience or building skills, volunteers are involved in most phases of construction. By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of home ownership. We have volunteer opportunities in the ReStore 9AM to 5 PM Wednesday through Saturday.
