There's something special about being in a room full of people who love the Church and want to serve it well.
That's what Fall Session is all about. On Saturday, November 7, the Baptist General Convention of Virginia is gathering at Fifth Baptist Church in Richmond for United to Serve, and we'd love for you to be there.
We'll start the morning in worship with a message from Rev. Dr. Gregory Howard. Then you'll head into a breakout session built for where you actually serve, whether you're clergy, a lay leader, working with youth or young adults, or part of the men's or women's ministry. Later, Rev. Rickey Rouse, Jr. will bring a word on "Stronger Together: The Power of a United Church."
We'll also handle Convention business, commission one another for the work ahead, and close it out the best way we know how: lunch and good fellowship.
You don't have to hold a title to come. If you love your church, there's a seat for you.
