Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 31, 1:00-5:00
A message from your Garden Walk Committee:
We hope everyone got out to enjoy the new Bellevue tradition of Porchella and are ready to stroll through our neighborhood for the annual Bellevue Garden Walk. The Walk is taking place at a later date this year to showcase the late May beauty of our neighborhood. For the first time, the gardens of neighborhood partners, Westminster Canterbury of Richmond (WCR) and Ginter Park Library, are included in the Walk! Changes have been in the works with the landscapes of both. Recent additions to the WCR West Gardens include extensive raised beds, beehives and a new greenhouse. The focus of the Library redesign has been to manage stormwater on and around library grounds with a green infrastructure utilizing regionally native plants, a permeable paver system, benches, and a shade structure. These neighborhood institutions will be joining our nine residential gardens and seven Bellevue artists.
A Garden Bingo is being planned for everyone who likes games and bingo cards will be available at each garden. Prizes available for the kids.
Reminders:
As always, the Garden Walk happens Rain or Shine.
To be respectful of the homeowners, leave dogs at home or out of the yards.
Westminster Canterbury of Richmond, Azalea Garden Center and Once Upon A Vine provide support for the Garden Walk. Show your thanks by supporting them.
