Arts Center Task Force

Arts Center Task Force Building a home for the arts in Tri-Cities.

Arts Center Task Force is working to create a permanent home for the performing arts in the Tri-Cities—an environment where artistic expression and innovation can thrive. Our mission is to enhance cultural access, quality of life, and economic vitality by building a state-of-the-art venue for local talent, touring performances, educational programs, and community events. This center will fill a lo

ng-standing gap in cultural infrastructure and help shape the Tri-Cities into a vibrant, connected, and creative place to live, work, and visit.

🎭🎶💃 Our community calendar is PACKED!

Looking for something to do this week? We’ve got you covered! Our weekly Community Arts Calendar is full of live performances happening throughout the Tri-Cities—from live theater and music to dance, comedy, and more.

Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with the family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 or something a little more grown-up 🍸, there’s plenty to choose from!

Our calendar is updated weekly and focuses specifically on live performances, so it’s an easy way to see what’s happening around the community without having to dig through a dozen different event pages.

👉 Check out the calendar and sign up to receive it each week: artscentertaskforce.org

And if you’re an organization putting on a live performance, you can add your event to our calendar right from our website! 🎉

Let’s keep filling the Tri-Cities with great performances, talented artists, and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the arts. ❤️

School is right around the corner, which means it's time for that annual closet clean-out! Outgrown clothes, old backpacks, and everything in between are finding a new home.

While you're sorting through the house, keep an eye out for any instruments that are no longer being used. 🎺🎻🎷

Our friends at the Mid-Columbia Symphony are collecting donated instruments for their new Instrument Petting Zoo—a hands-on experience at community events where kids (and adults!) can try different instruments, discover a new passion, and maybe even begin their musical journey.

That instrument collecting dust in your closet could be the one that inspires the next generation of musicians. 🎶

Do you have an instrument tucked away in a closet that's no longer being played? Give it a second life by donating it to the Mid-Columbia Symphony!

When children have the chance to hold and try real instruments at our Instrument Petting Zoo, something magical can happen. A single moment of curiosity can spark a lifelong love of music—or help a young musician discover the instrument they're meant to play.

If you have a gently used instrument you'd like to donate, we'd love to put it into the hands of the next generation of musicians. Email [email protected] for more information or to arrange a drop off.
