Happy summer solstice weekend. Yesterday marked the longest day of the year. The first fruits have already been harvested and new crops begin to ripen. The phases of life linger everywhere around us. We are already feeling blessed this season as abundance flows, but with such abundance we must keep reminding ourselves to slow down, join hands, and give thanks to the Lord above 🫶🙏🍎

It’s our BBQ fundraiser cook off today!! Thanks to all who help us make it happen! All meat 100% donated by Bryan’s Meat Co, with pit master Cody Beckstrom from Becks BBQ who’s been smoking pork all night long!

6 meals left!! Every dollar goes towards harvesting excess crops in our area and delivering those harvests to local food banks!

Our solution to crop waste is one huge answer to hunger!

Free summer meals available for Kennewick students! 🍎🍽️☀️

The Kennewick School District Summer Meal Program provides free meals for all children ages 18 and younger throughout the summer. No registration is required.

Meal sites include:
• Amistad Elementary
• Southgate Elementary
• Highlands Middle School
• Kennewick High School
• Kamiakin High School
• Southridge High School
• Tri-Tech Skills Center

Cool weather has kept the strawberries producing longer than expected, and U-Pick is continuing this week!
