On the evening of July 3rd, our area was blessed with a beautiful display of the Northern Lights. After our family went out and took some photos out in a rural area, we decided we wanted to see if they would still be visible from the monument.

So from the early morning hours on the 4th of July, we were able to grab a few pictures of the LORD’S colorful sky display over our favorite Gold Star Family Monument.
(thank you iphone for night mode, but it’s crazy how bright it makes everything look).

Reflect with us tomorrow, 5/25, at Sunset Gardens annual Memorial Day program. Alexandra will be speaking again about the Gold Star Family monument. And they will have over 1200 donated flags lining the driveways through the cemetary.

While you are always welcome to come and see the statue at Sunset Gardens, we would love to have you join us again this Memorial Day, May 25th, for their annual Memorial program. And as a bonus, Alexandra will be speaking again at this event. So come, have a reflective Memorial Day, see the 1200+ flags that will be posted around the cemetary, and remember those who have given their lives in the service of this nation.

Program starts at 11am, on Monday, May 25th, at Sunset Gardens 915 By-Pass Hwy, Richland, WA. The program is generally held in the grass area between the event center and the Veteran's section of the cemetary.
