🦈 taking a Great White sized bite out of leadership! 🦈

Worthy Advisor elect, Aubrye, and her line, took off to the Oregon Coast for a weekend full of fun, laughter and term planning. Huge thank you to outgoing WA, Hennesy, for your mentorship and help with our LEAP book.

🫶🏼 it takes a village and these opportunities would never be possible without our adults. Huge thanks to Ms. Danielle, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Janette for all of the behind the scenes work that goes into these weekends and to the LaMastus’ for donating lodging 🫶🏼

On Saturday, April 25th, we traveled down to Eastern Washington for an enchanted weekend, celebrating their three Grand Officers: Madi, Jasmine, and Nicki. It was a spectacular GOR, with beautiful enchanted garden decorations, a hilarious skit, and eye watering speeches. 🤩

Madi L., Grand Recorder and Bible Bearer, kicked off the speeches on a heart warming note, as she shared her experience with impactful teachers, and how much of a difference good teachers can make. 👩‍🏫

Jasmine P., Grand Treasurer and Co-Chair of Grand Assembly, talked about every rainbow girls favorite item, glitter, and how just like how glitter leaves behind a little bit of itself everywhere it goes, we too should leave our mark on the world.✨

Finally, Nicki W. left us on a happy, but equally tearful note, with her speech about things she would tell her past self, and how much rainbow has done for her during her time as a girl. 🌈

Immediately after the Grand Officers beautiful speeches, they received gifts from their district, Mrs. Downing, and Jurisdictional Parents. In addition to these presentations, Nicki and Mrs. Downing announced their new recipients of the Grand Cross of Color and the Service to Rainbow Award. 🏅

Following the GOR, many members also had the opportunity to travel to Washington Demolay’s State Convention, where we got to witness the installation of their new state core, as well as partake in an incredibly groovy dance. 🕺

All in all it was a fantastic weekend full of celebration, dancing, and memories!

Tri-Cities IORG is excited to be working on a special service project for the dogs and cats at the Benton-Franklin Humane Society

Our members are collecting items to create Easter baskets for the animals, and we would love your help. We have put together an Amazon wish list, and any items purchased will be shipped directly to the girl coordinating this project. Once everything arrives, our members will assemble the baskets together.

This is such a fun way for our girls to give back and show kindness to animals in our community. Thank you for supporting Tri-Cities Rainbow and helping us make this project possible.

Wrapping up our series for

🫶🏼Rainbow is more than meetings and events—it’s the friendships that turn into a real sisterhood. Whether you came in with a sister or found one here, you’re never doing it alone.

Whether it’s your sister or your best friend, here’s what sisterhood sounds like:

🫶🏼“She’s my sister, but also my built-in ride or die.”

🫶🏼“We hype each other up… even when we’re nervous.”

🫶🏼“She makes me feel like I belong.”

🫶🏼“I wouldn’t have tried half the things I’ve done without her.”

🫶🏼“We can be totally different and it still works.”

🫶🏼“We’re friends first… but it really does feel like sisters.”

🫶🏼“If I’m having a bad day, she already knows.”
