Camp Fire Oneida & Camp Birchrock Our program offerings include resident & day camp. We are a Summer Camp located in Rhinelander, right in the heart of the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Camp Fire Oneida was established in Rhinelander in 1949 and continues to serve youth through nationally recognized programs and curriculum in order to develop the necessary life skills to thrive. We provide low cost, high activity, exciting, and fun Day and Overnight Summer Camp programs. We offer a multitude of diverse activities geared towards building leadership skills, high self-esteem, group

*one of the posts was hit Monday night. Tuesday after drop off the entire sign fell due to gravity of not having both posts. We took the flag and camp Birchrock sign in so it wasn’t damaged or stolen.

We promise Camp Birchrock is still here! 🌲

Unfortunately, someone took out our sign yesterday night. If anyone happened to see anything or hears who may have done it, please let us know! We’d love a little help getting it rebuilt.

The sign posts have been there for many, MANY years, which unfortunately for us means they are VERY sturdy 😂 Great when you want a sign to stay up forever… not so great when you suddenly need to get the posts out of the ground.

So if anyone knows who gave our sign an unexpected makeover, or happens to be really good at removing extremely stubborn posts, let us know!

We’ve been having so much fun at camp that we’ve completely been slacking on our Facebook pictures! 📸😅

The days have been flying by with games, swimming, crafts, adventures, laughter, and so many great memories!

Happy Week 2 from Camp Birchrock!

The rain was still trying its best to slow us down, but we weren’t having it. Between hikes, waterfront time, games, and plenty of muddy adventures, our campers continued to make the most of every day at camp.

This canoe lesson was a little more challenging than expected thanks to what felt like 300 knot winds.

There were many sick canoe donuts that made a lot of us dizzy watching, lots of drifting, and even a trip through the swim area that campers and counselors on the beach definitely got some laughs out of, but these two stuck with it and kept paddling. By the end of waterfront they had officially beaten the wind and made it back to shore!

We’re proud of these two for not giving up when canoeing got a little more exciting than planned. 🚣‍♀️💨

Happy Week 1 from Camp Birchrock! ☀️🌲

Even though it was a rainy first week, our campers made the most of every minute. We spent the week playing countless rounds of Capture the Flag, exploring camp on hikes, enjoying playfield games, and of course spending time swimming and fishing whenever the weather cooperated!

Thank you to all of our campers and families for kicking off another amazing summer with us. We can’t wait to see what adventures the rest of the season has in store!

🌲 Camp Cleanup is Tomorrow! 🌲

Help us get Camp Birchrock ready for another amazing summer season! Join us anytime between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM for our annual cleanup day. Whether you can stay for an hour or the entire event, every helping hand makes a difference.

Our Board of Directors will be providing lunch for all volunteers. If you have yard work tools such as rakes, leaf blowers, gloves, etc., please bring them along if you’re able!

Camp Cleanup is THIS Saturday, May 30th from 10am–2pm! 🍃🪵

We’ll be getting camp ready for another awesome summer season and would love any extra helping hands. Lunch will be provided by our Board of Directors!

If you have rakes, leaf blowers, gloves, or other outdoor cleanup tools, please bring them along.

Whether you can stay all day or just stop by for a bit, we appreciate all the help in getting Camp Birchrock ready for campers! 🌲
