For over 100 years, the USTA Mid-Atlantic Foundation (formerly USTA Mid-Atlantic Section) has been promoting tennis in Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and eastern and southern West Virginia. It is one of the 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association and our vision is tennis in EVERY community. USTA Mid-Atlantic, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that offers grants, outreach

programs and scholarships to help grow the sport and support tennis providers, facilities, and players around the Mid-Atlantic region. Our all-inclusive, customized programming builds community, character, and well-being to activate the higher benefits of tennis for ALL people especially those in underserved communities. With over 1.2 Million people playing tennis, USTA Mid-Atlantic provides a wide variety of tennis programs and tennis events that welcome every type of player to the tennis courts.

Emmy Award-winning ESPN host and journalist Malika Andrews is joining us to emcee the 2026 Tennis Creates Gala on Saturday, Nov. 14, at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner!

Currently leading ESPN’s coverage at the US Open, Andrews is one of the brightest stars in sports broadcasting. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate our region's change-makers and honor retired Navy Vice Adm. Sean S. Buck with the 2026 Tennis Creates Impact Award. 🌟
